Off course I can confirm it houses a P478BWSbr # 1373124
A heart touching story how it came in my possession...
A nice person from Paris once told me about his MN LeCoultre, guess that was in 2001, I asked him to show it to me, next watch show in Cologne he showed and borrowed it to me. It was missing the stoplever and as a thankfull gesture I installed the missing lever from my MK 11 spare part inventory. - Actually all non Geophysique P478BWSbr I found came WITHOUT stoplever and positioning screw.
The owner refused any offer to sell it, and I mean truely any offer whatsoever.
Than, one day he asked me for a favor regarding a fraudulent Ébay auction, due to some - hmmm lets call it - skills, the issue got solved totally advanting the surprised French friend. When I delivered his item in person the next time I was in Paris he really surprised me during lunch. He gave me an Artcurial catalog for the very first LeCoultre theme auction, well I already had one of these but then he grabbed into his bag another time... Saying to me: "You wont find this inside the catalog and you have to pay me the price I once paid". Voila! The at that time only known example of an issued french navy Jaeger-LeCoultre watch - MN 1965 SCH. It actually is that rare and special Zaf didn't show it in the book since we couldn't figure out any history of it.
Hope you find this interesting.
