Audemars Piguet: Overseas indeed ...

I did try the Overseas 4500, but the size on my wrist is the same as the DJ 41 ... too big. However, the Overseas 5300 (small model) suits my wrist very well and I really like the model. Unfortunately, for the price they are asking, the value is just not there imho ... only 40 hrs power reserve, non

Audemars Piguet: Great choice!

I have been following your posts with some interest as I am looking for a steel (bracelet) sports watch myself. Last year I fooled myself thinking that I had finally found "the" watch, a Rolex Datejust 41, but I never felt comfortable with the size of the watch and the "baggage". RO is definitely a

Jaeger-LeCoultre: 2009-2013 JLC NSA, 4 years of ownership

Call it fate, or perhaps more appropriately a feeling of dissatisfaction that grew stronger. And with several incidents that really shook my belief in JLC as a consistent supplier of quality luxury goods, there was only one option left for me. I had to let this one go... In 2009 I was looking for a

Rolex: Uh-oh ... they've done something to the case haven't they?

Just compare it to the existing model with the rounded sides ... I guess all of the sea-themed watches will have the same square case as the new subs, the only difference will be the different bezels and dials. Cheers, Rick

Jaeger-LeCoultre: It's all about the people...

Mr Lambert has been CEO of JLC for as long as I have had an interest in the brand. And while I have definitely had my grievances with some of the strategies that have been chosen, especially in marketing, I am still in awe of the overall quality and taste shown in their collection. We all know that

Jaeger-LeCoultre: I like the fact that you ...

approached this with an open and "scientific" mindset. But I must admit I am also concerned, because not long ago Marv posted pictures of a ceramic bezel on the NSA that had fallen off. And it had the same glue footprint as we can clearly see from your pictures. I have also seen pictures of a EWA 46

Jaeger-LeCoultre: I trust you are doing a lot of lobbying for us Nicolas ...

but be sure to give us a hint if there is anything we can do to win this fight. I'm not sure if I am relieved or not that the re-issue will not present itself THIS year ... but at least your words give hope! Sign me up for a SS Geophysic with cross hair dial, I'm hungry with money to burn ... LOL! R

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Wow and congratulations

I've never seen this version of the Geophysic before and I must admit this is a real beauty! Here's to your health Nicolas and thank you for the effort you put into this forum, it's really outstanding! And yes, MJLC, you can also put me in the order books for a re-edition of the Geophysic.
