I got one, which has gone in a sad way, the " A Chronographe ".
to answer you, I''d say that IF I owned the " A Chronographe ", I would, without any hesitation, go for this UTT.
But if I had to get only one Duometre, then it would be the " A Chronographe ".
Why? Easy.... The " A Chronographe " was the first of the family. So you can say that the dial, the case and the movement were made for it.
While the following are developments on the first one.
What diid I feel?
I will be honest. I received the official picture a few days before seeing it in the real.
When I saw the press file picture, honestly, I was deceived.
The " real " meeting with the watch changed my mind, and now I find it interesting. Complicated, but interesting,
And you know me, when I say interesting, that doesn't mean a polite " well, so so, not for me ". I am straight enough to say what i think, even iif it is negative.
Interesting, because it is a Duometre, because it is an original way to " live " the Travel Time " and the World Time ".
Because it will be a fair LE, I mean that Jerome Lambert clearly told me that they won't do another white metal version of the UTT, again, which means that we'll have colored gold iterations, but I don't have a problem with that.
Two cons:
1/ The price, which I find a tad too high.
2/ The legibility of the world time function. My eyes are getting tired, and I really can't read the World Time hours without glasses.
Now, I can tell you that IF I already owned the " A Chronographe ", I wouldn't hesitate to get this one, too.
In all honesty.
Best,
Nicolas
