First of all, Jerome, big thanks for your work on this topic, and huge congrats for the quality of your work...
This watch, as the Gyro II, deserved more than one or two pics of the press files, and much more than the official comments.
JLC is striking again with this piece...Less strong than with the Gyro II, of course, which deserves to enter directly in the Museum of High End Watches, but this A III is very interesting.
Esthetically, some will criticize the design, as it's a very subjective ...topic.
But this watch belongs to a special family inside the JLC Family...
JLC dares, and I like it, to make special watches...This A III is indeed special.
Sporty, class at the same time, original, innovative and vdery well finished.
I specially love the contrast of the warmth of the subtle touches of the Rose Gold ( crown, outside part of the case back, bridge of the tourbillon, etc...)
with the strong look of the ceramic black case.
I also appreciate that JLC offers a sporty tourbillon...For me, the Master Tourbillon is a bit too conventionnal, too...shy.This one is spectacular,
originally presented, with a lot of strenght.
An Amvox Watch has to offer something different in the horology world, andd it does, as the Amvox II did, and even the Amvox I, as it was hasardous to touch at such a mythical watch as the Polaris.
It'sz something like 1 month I look, not to say admire this watch...Thinking of it, re thinking it...I was not lucky enough to see it at the same time than you, Jerome, but your pics achieve to convince me that my analysis, my approach of this watch is good.
I will only have to make the ultimate test, the test of the wrist, but I'm quite sure of the result.
Thanks, Jerome, this year, as the last 3 or 4 past years, JLC presented some very interesting stuff...And I'm sure that's not the end of our suprises,
this year, and the years to come.
Best.
Nicolas
