The Lange 'signature' in such watches is the big date, as in - The date window in your friend's watch is not a 'big' date. There is no hand for the power reserve, no date corrector button and no indices for the 'second time zone' hands. It's not looking g...  

shit I really hate this!...but there is no doubt, on top of it, the watch is really big, I have a big wrist and the watch is at least 46/47 mm if not more. I am really sorry about that, at least I learned something...my watches are less prestigious but at...

No..this is not a seiko 6105. This is seiko 6309 7040 so call Turtle. This watch have a 43.5mm body w/o crown n 45mm from lug to lug. It have 17 jewels automatic movement run perfectly. Here is the photo of the movement, hope u like it :o) Best Chung...  

i heard a lot of interesting stories about 6105. i am not familiar with 6309, but it seems both models have oyster casing. the movement in your 6309 looks great. Vintage Seiko calibers are very reliable and high standard. congrats on your nice piece. stef...

it is a based on UNITAS and Modified to Center Second. i think what makes it look a little different from the other Modified Unitas is the 16 fold Geneva Stripes . where by the usual Unitas has about 8 Stripes. ) it is a beautiful Piece and a lot of Watch...

yours might not have Rolex on the dial, but if i'm not mistaken you have a tri compax with V72 calibre in it which i think i'm right in saying is the same as this lovely Rolex. thats not detracting from the superb Rolex, but at this vintage era many used ...

thanks Richard, i cant remember what they call it, but there is a specific name for the way the numbers are bigger at the long ends. a bit like a starburst effect. the 2's are only slightly different probably due to the sizing. the 7 is very odd indeed, b...

These Sinns are very nice...a little big for my small wrist, but am looking forward to your post on your experience with them Richard

The other is they wear smaller than you might image because of the lug shape. The rubber strap is great for all conditions and marries the wrist well. The problem always with Sinn is the availability to find AD's so you can try the watches on. HAGWE Bill

They do wear comfortably. I'm fortunate that my AD here also holds Sinn's and I have tried them on (more than once too) - they are comfortable, but still feels a little too big. Perhaps one day, I can condition my mind to accept that Size and proportions ...

and you find more and more that you want to own. you have a great military with 30mm movement so you might find you want a 286 which follows on from the 30T2 then you'll want a 601 which is the first of the newer movements. then your deep into vintage ter...

it's not the car that's dangerous, it's the other drivers. Beside, you only have to be LESS dangerous than the vehicle next to you! (like this guy up the street) The good thing is my cars don't tip over like motorcycles! Here's a guy on a 3-wheel scooter ...  

Agree with you, the danger comes from the others but knowing what cars you have on the streets in the US, you wouldn't want to be hit by one of these monster pick ups. Anyway, cool to see 2CVs in the US and even a Meharie! We still see those on the coast,...
