What is the rationale for this JLC Deep Sea Alarm watch?
Sep 04, 2014,02:00 AM
Nico,
Thank you for the pictures and I agree the watch looks pretty on or off the wrist.
I am a little puzzled and forgive me for not being a "military" or "utility" watch savant; what is the rationale for an alarm underwater?
I know that sound travels further underwater compared to air viz. our whale friends communicate by infrasound, but would the rattling alarm underwater alert the sea life or the enemy divers to your presence?
Regards,
MTF
