Now you understand how thrilled I was when the HG brought me this watch!
By: amanico : June 23rd, 2015-02:37
As for your questions, now.... It seems that there was an English version of the leaflet: I don't have the rest of the booklet, sadly. As for the Sputnik box, for me, as far as I know, there were only 2, for the Commanders' watches. I mean two available, ...

.. as per to the concomitant epiphemalia for the new Tributes 1958 versions it was a nice JLC sentiment, IMHO, to provide the little round folder/booklet & tag to go together.. Thx agan for this revelating share, my friend ! Really a nice set.. LGM did a ...

By: Tyo : June 23rd, 2015-03:38
granny Ginette is single.... no one will charge you for this arrangement. I can witness this union To get back to this Geophysic I find this watch so beautiful, less is more, that's a pity that the tribute doesn't have the same dial ( except the platinum ...

Nicolas, Thanks for the memories. I do remember how the Nautilus trip under the Pole made my boy mind excited. It was "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" (Jules Verne) made real! And the watch is ... alive, after all those years! Cheers, Nilo

Thank you for sharing and clarifying history

And now history is preserved in this watch! So glad JLC is keeping this historical watch as it is. I also never knew the watch presented to the commanders were in yellow gold! Wow! Makes me rethink the red gold Tribute to Geophysic. Truth is I like it mor...
