 By: KIH : November 5th, 2010-20:01
My JLC fanatic friend and I were invited by Mr. Olivier Laurian, Brand CEO of JLC Japan, to a special session with Mr. Janek Deleskiewicz, the Chief Designer (Directeur Artistique & Design) at Jaeger-LeCoultre. We were given the opportunity to see the Mas...

Janek is a true gentleman, as well as Olivier, Ken.

Throught this interview, you were able to feel what is so particular, with JLC. The people working in or for this manufacture are accessible, disponible. Janek told you an important thing , he travels to meet what people, journalists think, like or don't ...

Thanks a lot, except.....

This is the stuff we love to read and see, no? The photos are amazing, too. You got to see some realy beauties. I was interested in what he had to say about the size of JLC watches: JD: Many brands wanted to make big watches – 45mm, 46mm, or even larger. ...

Oops, that I don't know....

I didn't ask that question....

 By: KIH : November 9th, 2010-22:29
...but the impression is that he does high-level design and concept while overseeing his staff who does the detailed work. He called the"team" including his design stuff, enamel craftmen, watchmakers "each artist" and it seems to show that he trusts each ...
