I think it is a FABULOUS looking watch, and the steel 42mm will probably feel like the titanium 44mm, which, I imagine, is wider bracelet, lugs, case, bezel, etc., to make the package harmonious.
JLC has proven, once again, that besides the astronomical, heady complications, it can still make a watch that is down-to-earth in looks and especially in pricing. If I read you correctly, the US list on plain rubber (which I dislike - looks like a Seiko strap) will be around $9,100, whereas the articulated rubber (which is my favorite, by far) will be around $10,400, or so. Selling for under 10k at this level of watch (read: PP, AP, VC), is AMAZING!
I can't wait to try this puppy on, and, if my guess is correct, this might be the fastest-selling NS in the lineup.
