Master Mariner HPG

The HPG issue of the Master Mariner looks similar to the "original" one, but the big difference is under the case back.

While the K883 is a amazing, inhouse, automatic, full blood Jaeger LeCoultre, very high grade movement, the one in the HPG is a cheap, not too nicely ellaborated AS movement. Could be considered as a cheap inhouse copy of the original edition.

Jaeger LeCoultre found this answer to hte quartz crisis. The HPG or the Club script on the dial anounces to AS movement.
