It is quite an interesting Amvox

I realise when I select which Amvox Chrono I like or not, that it is a matter of do they have a detail I really don't like or not.
I like those models but there is often something wrong to me.
This one is really nice and comes in 2nd place behing the Amvox Chronograph DBS in Steel (499 pcs). The only detail I didn't like in this DBS was the Aston logo on the dial (second disk).
I don't want to buy a JLC watch I like to have a car logo on the dial (even if it is a great brand).
What I prefered in the DBS compared to the 7 is the shine of the steel case compared to Titanium and also the disks material which I liked better on the 7. My personal taste.
But this one is a really nice offer too and the logo is more discreet from what I saw when I tried it.
Is it the prototype you have here? (I don't see the AM logo).
Nice to hear about it.
Cheers, Mark

Since its unveil in 2012, if I remember correctly, we almost never discussed this Amvox, which is, basically, an Amvox II with a re designed dial and an original feature, the radial power reserve, between 10 and 2 o clock. And another interesting differen...

A nice placeholder, but the Amvox line requires new blood.

Thank you for highlighting this little-discussed Amvox. Besides the power reserve, this model incorporates another feature overlooked thus far in this thread: the strap release tabs from the Compressor Extreme series. Combined with the application of more...
Very interesting, Tim.

There are many Amvox Fans who are expecting much more. And yes, the answer or the solution is still pending. Since some years, now, maybe since the Amvox III, I don't feel the Amvox line achives our expectations. The 5 makes a strange come back with its c...

the AV7 is awesome! Why? It's not JUST an update to the AV2 with vertical trigger, it includes a nicely re-designed dial, the dual radial power-reserve (borrowed and cut in half from the Geophysic 2), AND an updated quick-change strap release, as seen on ...
