As you, I'm waiting to get an answer to your 2 questions about the quality of the finish.
But I have to say that I noticed that, strangely, the protos are less well finished than the final product...
I noticed it on the Amvox II platinum, and on others JLC watches...It's a goood thing, no?
I'm on the platinum Duo metre, and can't wait to get mine....

... at least not for the regular production. The one you saw may have been the Platinum which sells at 48k EUR as far as I know. Judging from your pictures the finish of Cal. 380 may be behind the Lange Dato as has been discussed before. But an impressive...
