A lovely festive gift from JLC
Aug 29, 2014,05:33 AM
Dear Friends,
I received a wonderful festive gift from JLC Singapore today... a box of mooncakes.
The Chinese celebrate mid autumn with round pastries filled with sweet lotus seed paste. These delicacies are anticipated eagerly every year. The mooncakes I received from JLC were baked by the Raffles Hotel. They are customized with the Jaeger name in Chinese and the year 1833.
Many thanks to the JLC SG team for the thoughtful gift.
Cheers and thanks for looking
Pauline

Delicate attention from the Singapore JLC Team. Which doesn't surprise me, as they are very friendly, from what I could test by myself. Enjoy! Best, Nicolas

Raffles Hotel makes really good mooncakes, and their wares are famous in Singapore. As with their usual superlative offerings, the JLC mooncakes were exceptional, which is to be expected :) Also a word about the Chinese characters printed on the mooncakes...
