Breitling 809 Cosmonaute Part 3: the beauty that became a beast
By: cisco : April 7th, 2015-09:02
Unlike many toolwatches, Breitling are elegant, far from the brutal thickness that you can find in other toolwatches ( which has its own charm for sure). It's something typical that you can also find on SuperOcean 807 and 1004, divers that are thin and re...

A pleasure to read, I learned a lot of things on a reference I don't know very well, by far. The 24 hours dial makes a big difference. What a look. Thanks also to hilight the case and the lugs. Nice bevels. A Ref post I will certainly come back to read, o...
Thank you Nicolas

I think it's good to dream and it makes a nice story for the review :) (another thing is whatever Breitling says, it would be nice if they provide proofs , collectors would appreciate to see something from them... at the moment the way they manage vintage...

THAT is a spacewatch , conceived for this and worn in condition before any other chornograph or swiss wristwatch. The astronaut asked for it, it's not a brand that desperately try to get there. There is no other spacewatch (don't take it seriously, it's j...

It's hard to compare new watches and vintage. I like vintage but new watches are important because when a line didn't stop for more than 60 years, it means something, it's good for the new watches as for vintage one. Thanks for the photo :) You might be s...

What a blessing for you to be part of this meeting! For the Mercury 7, only John Glenn remains, what an adventure it was! François

People Under the SEA. - SEALAB SEALAB II was a completely new habitat, 57 by 12 feet in size, and unlike SEALAB I included hot showers and refrigeration. It was placed in the La Jolla Canyon off the coast of California, at a depth of 205 fsw (62 m). On Au...

These guys were an elite. Not everyone can be a jet pilot, to be a jet test pilot, have a bachelor degree and have top physical condition makes a statement on who these guys were. And one of seven in the end. Carpenter wanted to discover and although ther...
