it's call tail docking
May 14, 2013,01:52 AM
for whatever reasons...from aesthetics to health reasons. controversial, esp with animals rights group.
there are two methods, one is by a process call banding...simply think in terms or placing a solid rubber band on the tail, and cutting off blood supply...after several days, the tail would drop off by itself. The other method is via simply precision surgery of removal.
best, Horo

as the proud owner of two certified knuckle heads (an English mastiff and dogue de Bordeaux), your English Bulldog is clearly a sweat-heart. Ugly, not even close; stupid? Hey, maybe we had better not go there.... --Sancerre
