JLC SIHH 2014: Tribute To Reverso 1948.
Do you remember this Reverso, whose case was in white gold, and a superb grained dial?
It was released in 2012, and when we saw it, we fell under the charm.
We were quite many to dream about a more affordable version, in stainless steel, with the same dial.
Jaeger-Lecoultre did even better! They created a superb, yes, really superb stamped dial. It is hard to see it on my pictures, but the indexes are blue, like on this press release photo, a tad darker, though:

The indexes are galvanic blued, give a lot of depth to the dial, and are absolutely charming.

The case is in stainless steel version, with this now well known Reverso Ultra Thin volumes, which are 46, 8 mm x 27, 4 mm x 7, 3 mm thickness.
The movement is the Cal 822/2, which is manual wound, offering an autonomy of 45 hours, and beating at 21600 vibrations per hour.
I am pretty sure that it will be one of our Community stars, this year.
It is not a limited editon, but a Boutique Edition, and keep this information for you, but the batch will be very short.
The retail is slightly below 8 000 Euros.

This one has it all. For me, the 46mm across doesn't fit too comfortably on my small wrist, and though I like this one a lot, and as you say, the blued indices is elegant and gives out so much character to the dial - I take consolation that my reverso GT ...
A Cult Classic, Or Just A...

The Chocolate is the first I saw. I was very surprised and charmed, even if the case is in rose gold. But the proportions of the case go very well with rose gold. But when I saw the TT Reverso 1948, my heart was beating much faster... One is spectacular, ...
