A week before last, my friend and I decided to visit the town of Ipoh in Northwestern Malaysia, to spend a few days there sightseeing and sampling the renowned cuisine and culture of the place. We rented a car from KL and it took us about two and a half hours to get there without a hitch. We also brought our cameras with us, hopefully to capture some of the essence of an old & sleepy town, far from the glitz of the capital. We were very impressed with everything this town had to offer, especially how welcoming and friendly the locals were to tourists like us. Taking photos was a breeze and no one minded having their photos taken. They seem to enjoy it as much as we did.
Not to bore you further, here are some of the photos taken with the M11/35mm summicron together with some phone shots thrown in.
