Their propaganda might give an Armand Nicolet model number for their movements, but their just rebadged ETAs as far as I've seen. Nothing new - many companies have been doing this for years: I'd like to see their in-house movements if they truly do have any.
Used to own a couple nice looking 60's pieces - caliber 321 on the left, caliber 861 on the right: ....but they didn't fit well under a shirt cuff and they didn't seem to work in a casual setting so I sold them. Now I have this Chronostop and wear it frequently on days off:
I'm also left a little cold by most of Omega's modern offerings, but can't get enough of their vintage pieces. Seamasters & Connies for me also, but I mixed in a Genève and a Seamaster De Ville too. As of now, I think I have a baker's dozen - and maybe more if I ever pry Hoi's 2627 white waffle dial
