Awesome watch. That's pretty close to the perfect Futurematic... porthole 817? Check. Steel? Check. JLC-signed dial (my preference, but a personal one). Check! I hope this companion pays us more than an occasional visit. Superb piece! Best, Tim

Porthole, 37mm case in steel... whooo, nice! I particularly like the font they used for 'Futurematic' with that really cool 'F'. For the experts, could I ask - did they ever use that font for any other models besides the European market Futurematics, and ...

Hi Fab watch - Futurematics have that certain something about them. I have one and when I wear it I'm always amazed to think that it's 60 years old. Cheers JML
