new catch arrived today.
have been hunting for this 8-day pocket watch since quite some time back when i was first reading and learning this piece in one Clavi post. i particularly like using numeric in the small window at 6 to indicate the 8-day power reserve instead of usual way of indicating it by a hand. i also like the two circles at 9 for the second and at 6 for the brand name of "LeCoultre" which makes the dial look more balancing. besides, the hour and minute hands are heated steel blue in Breguet style which also matched with the hour markers with the same style very well. learning from this hunting journey, the patience is the key as it took me quite some time to find one in good condition with reasonable price!!! stefan
