Comparing matte and glossy ceramic bezels?

Aug 02, 2011,19:37 PM

I'm not even sure if the terms I used are correct. What I'm wondering right now is whether there is any difference, other than aesthetics, between matte ceramic bezels (like on the MC NS watches) and glossy ceramic bezels (like on the newer Rolex GMT or Submariner). Is either of these more prone to scratch and cracking from impact? Any clue will be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't see any difference in terms of scrath resistance or hardness, here.

Thank you for your view, Blomman. I have never had a ceramic bezel before.
