it is 39mm, right? the Complete, the first pic?
i think there is a generation that got exposed to that piece back in the early 2000 and that it really made an impression on them, me included.
to me and perhaps for that generation, this is THE master moon. i used to lust after it to be honest. triple date types with moon were very romantic. VC, JLC, ah mama mia. but then afterwards, i realized how tedious it could be to set up, needing that pin for example to push the moon adjustment.
the others? well, there is not a bad egg in the JLC lineup where calendars are concerned. all of them lovely

You forgot the object of my obsession, the Master Ultra Thin Moon. It has a simple date too and so should qualify. In any case, this goes to show the diversity offered by this beloved maison of ours. Cheers, Ruckdee
