JLC are not moving an inch neither through the discussions the AD are having with the Service Centre nor with any discussions I am having with Customer Service. The AD have made a kind gesture which will help significantly but I still would have hoped for something from JLC. I am having one more email exchange with them before making a decision. I guess the wider forum threads on JLC customer service are correct...

I agree anything can go wrong and often does - crucial will be the response of JLC to the problem and whether they can offer a compromise. So far, it hasn't been promising.
