The Martin Braun EOS...

Jul 14, 2023,17:24 PM

... Makes its triumphant return.

Martin Braun was the first watchmaker to design and implement a highly complicated Sunrise & Sunset indication for a mechanical timepiece. Named after the Greek Goddess of Dawn, the EOS is a highly acclaimed and multi-award-winning astronomical watch that continues to amaze even the most sophisticated of watchmakers with its remarkable display of the sunrise and sunset by the means of two, long crossed titanium hands attached to two precisely engineered cams.

The "Control" cams on either side of the six o'clock marker, are configured to the latitude and longitude of the collector's home time zone. To ensure the correct sunrise and sunset times are displayed, each EOS is individually set before it lands on the collector's wrist. Sunrise is displayed on the left side of the dial, with Sunset displayed on the right. Both indicators retrograde back to their respective starting points.

Thanks for your compliment. It will take some time, because we have to start everything from scratch. But there is more to come!

Totally understand! Good luck on this adventure!

... My understanding is that there is a fair amount of customization that can be done to the watch(es). Let's continue our conversation over DM. Thanks, - Scott
