Las Vegas Jewelry & Watch Show Report, Part 2
Jun 05, 2016,14:53 PM
I left you at the Speake-Marin booth, where we had a chat and looked at a few watches, all of which have been reported here before.
After a nice chat with some pals there, and a sip of water, I set out to canvass this corner of the show.
I passed Cuervo y Sobrinos.
Stopped for a talk with Chronoswiss, where I got a look at the updated Regulator and jumping hour watches. Since the company changed hands 4 years ago, it moved to Lucerne and is now fully Chrono SWISS.
Of course they have not changed everything. All their watches now have heavily decorated dials; most are still powered by their inexhaustible stock of Enicar movements.
I ambled by the Ball booth,
took a gander at Meistersinger,
and turned in at Muhle Glashutte, where we had a nice chat and we pondered how does a family brand make a name for themselves and sell a few more watches ...
They are looking to ramp up the Glashutte region business by adding models with a bit more sporty flair. I found them very attractive without being overdone. What do you think?
The pointer date GMT on a woven navy canvas strap
The two register chrono with matching rubber/kevlar strap, with ceramic insert steel bezel, crown guards, and stylish lugs. Styled for Andrew with blue and orange accents.
There were plenty more watches to see, so I moved along the hallway ...
At this point I was hoarse and tired again. So I thought I'd go up another floor and see a few diamonds.
I saw millions of dollars worth but didn't have the nerve to step in front of the security guards and snap a few shots.
Sorry.
Please come back for the surprising discovery in Part 3.
