A very appropriate anniversary watch ...

Jan 28, 2013,03:15 AM

... if you can think of 1000 posts in that way. This is one of a series of four Tokyo Boutique anniversary watches from Journe in titanium and RG with a ruthenium dial. Do you think you will continue to chase the whole set? There were 20 Chronometer Souveraine in 2005, 12 Resonance in 2006, 20 of your tourbillons in 2008 and 99 Octa Perpetuals in 2011. All were in 40mm cases. I like your Tourbillon and the Resonance the most.

Thanks again for your contribution to PuristS and for you good taste in such a focused and measured collection of timepieces.

Warm regards,

Andrew

these are wonderful pictures for a rare watch. I'm very glad you finally came to find one, it's seems to have been a long journey, and I guess it's the beginning of a long story! Wear it in good health Sam. Cheers, Mark (formerly Boréale)

Congratulations on the 1000th and the watch Sam. Speaking objectively though...

The macro photos of the movement are affected by what appears to be dust. Having said that many of my photos have dust on them but I am an amateur. Otherwise good photos. Regards, Richard.

Well done Sam!!!

Great photos and watch. Is the discoloration on the hour hand normal? Perhaps it’s just lubrication remnants??

Egads!
