Reverso Art Deco, The Review

The Reverso Art Deco:   From the early 90's till the end of the 2d Millenary, JLC produced some of the nicest Reversos ever made, in an astonishing LE of 500 pieces:first, the 60eme, to commemorate as it deserves a watch that without doubt had to be called an ICON, the Reverso, the first of a great watch story, produced in 1931...So in 1991, came this 60eme:   Then followed the Reverso Tourbillon, another pure Masterpiece, in 1993: And by another very appealing watch, the Mi...

Platinum Sun/Moon

Hi everyone, hope Wednesday night is taking it easy on ya'll.  I'm interested in a Platinum Sun/Moon Reverso, (GT size), that was made in the late '90s early 2000s but I can't find a reference number on it.  Does anyone out there have this information?  Oh, and did the WG version of this come in a grey face as well, (I've seen white and black faces), or was it only available on the platinum version? Also, I'm looking for a Platinum Reserve de Marche and need the same information.  If I ...

JLC CEO Jerome Lambert, The Interview

Jerome LAMBERT, THE INTERVIEW. Q: What is your personal take on Jaeger-LeCoultre? R: I would define Jaeger-LeCoultre as a brand of beautiful horology tradition and especially of horology know-how. Back in 2001 / 2002 we were convinced about that already and proud of our capacities. We just had to turn this know-how and potential into full reality, obviously without forgetting the founding principles of JLC and its creators as Antoine LeCoultre himself. Collection after collection, we've...

A few pictures from the Danish Masterclass

Just returned from the JLC Masterclass. Great fun, darn small screws! Anyway, here are a few pictures to share (I was wearing my EWC Rossi and got a few nods and positive remarks from the JLC crew).A fellow journalist from a financial media battling with the tiny screws. It didn't help him sitting in front of the "teacher"! The editor of another financial magazine also had his trouble. Not only with the tiny movement parts, but also the cyclop on his glasses! The tool and product of the day. Linda was ki...

Bracelet question

Is the clasp on the titanium bracelet on the new Diver's GMT titanium or steel.  I know that many manufacturers use steel for all their clasps (IWC and Panerai for example)  I wondered if JLC was the same way.  The look of the clasp is slightly different from the rest of the bracelet.  It is subtle.  Can anyone shed light on this matter? Thanks,Scott ...

When the ( good ) Light meets the Beauty

You attend to a rare moment, of real pleasure for the eyes...The MMR is one of the harder watch to take in pics.Reflections everywhere, even on the glass, a lot of problems to get the good " rendu " of the complexity of the dial, of its pure beauty, of the different levels. The plays of light, colors, materials are also problematic to enhance on a pic.But when you see the light, everything becomes...easier.Hommage to a Masterpiece!
