I just fell in love with the simplicity and understated quality.

Congratulations! The only thing I am not crazy about is the date.

For the rest, it is a good choice. Best, Nicolas

Many thanks.

Ironically the date was an added bonus for me. It is sadly something I tend to need reminding of throughout my working day...

It will be my pleasure.

I had long awaited a Master Chrono, and when this came out I was devastated because of the date It still perplexes me, especially since it would be simple to omit the date (i.e., have two models)...but I understand that it's never been JLC's policy to do ...

Yes, a possibility

So true...and that one, or the regular Deep Sea Chrono, are very tempting. Each one remains a possibility. But I really wanted a less casual chrono from JLC without the date. The Master chrono is great because it can be worn with jeans or with more formal...

Great pictures

Your first two pics highlight nicely the case, and this JLC case is my favorite of the Master series A masculine 40mm, that is serious without the superhero dimensions of many modern pieces, yet with sensual curved lugs and rounded off rectangular pushers...

Thank you John.

It is unfortunate that JLC have yet to release a similar one without the date, but I am sure this will change in time. Though I am glad it came with a date function, I would still have purchased the model without one. Best regards.
