Ever since the release of the GRUT 1931 I was hooked with the reverso. Tried it on my wrist and felt like I was wearing nothing and yet the presence was
overwhelming. Since then, plenty of variations came out. Others were limited series, standard productions. And the choice was not easy until....
The launch of this piece: The JLC Grande Reverso Ultrathin Chocolate. The case material coupled with the brown chocolate dial was a perfect match
for me. Add to it the vintage feel of the Casa Fagliano plus the included dark brown alligator strap sealed the deal for me. It combines elegance and sportiness at the
same time. Another plus for me is the seconds dial which adds a little something to the beautiful dial. One thing I would have wanted was if the dial was stamped like that of
the 1948. It adds depth and warmth IMHO. Thank you to all who have been great in sharing their thoughts and pictures with the Reverso. It is truly an icon for me. Pictures
don't do this justice. You need to wear it and FEEL the difference from round/heavy/top watches. This coming from a PAM and AP owner. Now my wardrobe is complete.
Hopefully until the time a new variation comes out...=) Now let's go on to the pictures!
Still with Plastic on. See how nice it matches the wooden center table along with a piece of Art, potion and rugged boots.
Now coupled with the origin of chocolate.... Coffee beans!!!
And lastly, the best feeling of all. The all important wrist shot.
at another angle. Notice how the light affects the hue of the gold case and the indices. Such a cool effect. At front view, you cannot see the white border of the indices, but after a few swivel,
you can clearly see it. Please note it doesn't have any lume.
There you go folks! Hope you like my first JLC.... it is my First and definitely not the last.
Best regards,
Ots
