Polaris 65, under the lense of the Leica D Lux 4 and 6.

Since my 2 cameras are back from the Leica SPA, I wanted to try them with the Polaris 65.

D Lux 4:

D Lux 6:

There is always a good reason to take pictures of our favourite watches.

And the Polaris 65 is certainly one of the jewels of my collection!

Best,

Nicolas

Any excuse is a good excuse, especially with this watch

Seems like the DLux 4 has a little better color balance and contrast, no?

Tough to say. I would say that the D Lux 6 is more accurate.

But I have to re do all my settings, on the 6... Then, I used to auto settings from Photoshop on theb picture taken with the 4, while I didn't need to do so on the picture from the 6. As for excuses, I guess you are right. ;) All the best, my friend. Nico...

But the 4 adds a touch more warmth...?

The value of a watch is what it means to someone....nothing more....nothing less. This one gives you great pleasure........and that is its only value.

Very crisp photos, Nicolas!

I honestly can't tell the cameras apart. One shot is a bit warmer then the other, but that has a lot to do with angel, how much of the flash you let through, .... Stunning shots, my friend! Best Blomman

Beautiful!

Wow - you really spoil us with these pictures Nicolas! Extremely beautiful your 65 polaris. Are the lume plots original to this watch? never noticed this before. Exquisite Watch and beautiful photography my friend. I will be looking at these pictures ofte...

Both are superb.. Differences to me are subtle if at all recognizeable.. If ..

.. if I were to look for these nuances, maybe the tonality/ warmth a bit more on D-4, as has bee said .. and the D-6 a bit more white (?).. Either way, superb pics of a splendid watch, and if you had to newly adapting the settings, it must have been takin...

Thank you, hs. I will take the time to check that, and to do the good settings.
