Watch and Car series: Lecoultre Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm US.

What is your Moderator doing when testing his freshly prepared car?

The friend who helped me to prepare my car took this photo. Well, I was asking him to take it. As a no Watch guy he is, there was a moment of silence from his side.... I felt he doubted about my mental health. But you know that kind of feeling quite well, don't you?

Or are you doubting, too?  wink

Anyway, the light in a car is quite good. It would be a pity to not try your chance... Don't try it at that speed, though....

Best,
Nicolas.

... nice shot for sure of a beautiful classic timepiece. Light for the photograph is perfect for this shot! Regarding our sanity?? well... you know ... collecting is a bit of love, a bit of passion and a great bit of madness!! Enjoy your watch and your ca...

On the twenty pictures he took, this one was decent. ;)

You are so right about Passion. ;) It was a very triring day, as I pushed the car in its limits, to be sure all was ok. The good news is that I still have my driving license. The other good news is that my friend lost 3 kilos, after this road test. :) All...

My Dr says I´m overweight (and my wifey agrees) then I guess...

The timing is a little unmatched, but this is a nice picture

The watch is better suited to your other Volvo...the vintage one, but this modern one works also :-) Seems you "torture" your friends with watches and in cars - as they say, our passion is not well understood ;-) HAGWE, my friend. Richard

I agree that the P 1800 is a better choice for this watch.

And I confirm that I tortured my friend... But the guy is strong, he doesn't care about watches, and he never wears one. About cars, well, that is anoter story! ;) Best, Nicolas

My car is slow...

... so I need an alarm to save me from arriving late. A shot I took a few days ago - thanks for a perfect opportunity to share! Your fellow motorist says "hi" from the slow lane :-) You never know what you might see on the road... Best, Tim ...

Wow, Tim! A Grande Memovox in Platinum!

That was a Watch, some what? 13, 14 years ago? It has been a very long time we didn't see one, here. Thank you so much! Best, Nicolas

Many Thanks! A tough watch to capture...

Thanks Nicolas, this can be a tough watch to capture on camera. The dial is metallic and explosive in the right light, but it needs a good natural luminescence, not a flash, to bring out its best. I was parking and direct sun hit the watch... had to pull ...

One of the toughest, all the platinum series from the same era, indeed.

This blue dial is so captivating in the real that I couldn't consider any other option than this one. As for th Volvo C 70 T5, now it hs some character. ;) Thank you, Tim. Best, Nicolas

OT - Great minds think alike!

That interior looks familiar! I also have a C70 T5. White with the red seats and 18" wheels. Unfortunately, the lease is up in December and I'm looking for something new. It's a shame that Volvo has chosen to discontinue this model (at least in the US) wi...

Mine is the T5 Inscription. I bought it 14 months ago almost new.

And a real pleasure to drive. Thanks, Gatorcopa. Happy to know that we share the same tastes, even with cars! ;) Nicolas

No, no chiptuning...

It is not allowed in France.... But some parts from Elevate, like the Cast inlet, the Dynamic Admission from KN, an intercooler from Heico, as well as the double exhaust. I also replaced the pipes and hoses....And ended with a torquemount... 272 HP, and 4...

It is difficult to understand what you mean, I always have the same problem when I photographed my watches at an inconvenient time :) Colors are consistent, and all appropriate in terms of the JLC and the , color strap , beautiful car , clothes safari. I ...

You now have 2 versions of The Saint cars.

 By: KC74 : October 19th, 2014-03:54
The original and the modern version. Try listening to Moby's The Saint theme in your new C70 blasting it loud while driving and wearing your favourite watch to add some cool factor.

Well, the Saint's ( Val Kilmer ) C 70 was the former one.

Which I owned, too, 10 years ago. A T5, too. Like this one: ...
