Some pictures of the Jaeger Lecoultre Odysseus Perpetual Calendar.

1987 saw the birth of one of the first Perpetual Calendar in a wrist watch, from Jaeger-Lecoultre, the first one being the Lyre ( 1986 ).
A 36 mm case, here made of platinum, a bit mannered with these complex lugs and profile, contrasting with the complete but rather simple dial.
Cal 889 / 440, which is born from the collaboration between Jaeger-Lecoultre and IWC ( movement made by JLC / Perpetual calendar module by Kurt Klaus / IWC ) when JLC and IWC were intimately linked.
This is the unique modern perpetual calendar from JLC whose informations can be set from... The crown. An idea I would love to see on their current perpetuals!
