I finally managed to take some pictures of two twin sisters, in the 855 family: the brown scale and the blue scale, nicknamed "mahogany" and "lapis". Two VERY attractive models, whose dials immediately catch the eye. They complement each other very well, ...  

I envy you a lot on the blue scale. A Watch I was about to get, but which I missed for some unexpected circumstances... What a collection you have! As for the E 855 " 12 ", you mean something like that, but in gold? Hmmmm? ;) Thanks for this superb post, ...  

Thanks for your words Nicolas. My collection is far from being as rich as yours, and this "12" is still missing. Made the mistake to wait 24 hours, some years ago, and a gorgeous 855 pink gold model with "12" marker had disappeared... As far as DSA US, ye...

So, I googled the blue dial piece. Boy, there are some good previous pix on this watch, but nothing compared to your duet and quintet! That blue is just mesmerizing, to this old guy who loves blue watches! Thanks again for enlightening me about a fantasti...
