2014 Collection: Jaeger Lecoultre Amvox II Transponder.

No disorientation for those who are familiar with the Amvox II, introduced in the catalog in 2006, which has seen several itérations, since...

The previous " Transponders " were dedicated to a few Aston Martin cars, such as the DBS or the Rapide.

The DBS:

The Rapide:

This last iteration allows its owner to control the lock / unlock functions of the doors of ANY Aston Martin car from the current production.

Hidden in the case back, a micro transmitter with an antenna you can see between 4 and 8 o' clock.

Of course, you will have the smart pivoting case to start, stop and reset to zero the chronograph, which makes all the specificity of this Watch, which doesn't have  pushers.

Like the previous Amvox II, JLC uses the Cal 751 E, an automatic movement beating at 28 800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of 65 hours.

The titanium case is 44 mm big, and water resistant to 5 bars.

It is not a limited edition.

Here, the quick pictures I could take:

While it is a nice idea to offer to the Aston Martin owners a Watch which can be used with these somptuous cars, I am still waiting for a crazy Amvox... The amvox II has not been surpassed, in my opinion.

Please, JLC and Aston Martin, invent a crazy Watch!

Best,

Nicolas

Although the Astin Martin isn't there to accompany I'll take this edition of the AMVOX II. I really like it!
