I want to go back to Le Sentier...

Feb 08, 2005,06:06 AM

Slightly more than 3 months have passed since some of us were visiting the Manufacture end of last october.

It was such a great time there. Each opportunity I have to have a look at the pictures, I just remember so many nice people, so many good times.

And when I begin dreaming of the (I'm pretty sure) very nice new timepieces we are going to see soon (I hope I am right Jaw?), I would want to stop by again, ring at the door, and have a look inside. Where to look for inside? It doesn't matter anyway, it's just good everywhere. Just like the "Ali Baba cavern", but with fine people.

I hope to live again the flavour of all that at the SIHH (JLC will have a 1200 square meters stand). Two months to go!

I also hope (but I am sure indeed) Jaw will help us during these two months.

How do you remember that visit now for those who were there?

Several Purists actually wrote to me personally and (rightly) questioned by sanity on selling the Reverso. A couple of fellow Purists on the trip also wrote to me on the same topic. I had intended to answer each in turn, but hopefully they will accept thi...

didn't you cheat on that. But that's perhaps what we would have wanted to do sometimes. I wish you a time as good on the PP forum as the one we had ? la manufacture. See you sometime this spring in Geneva I hope.

Of course I was joking...

Hi Jerome, just to add to what Tim and the others have said, the generosity, openness and attention of MJLC were just incredible. Of course having the indefatigable Jaw being our point man made a lot of difference as well. All in, what I experienced at Le...

The trip was more than a trip into fantasy land. The watches, the people, the new friends, the watches, the food, the watches, the gracious people, the watches. I laughingly remember the jewel that I popped out of the 875 movement that I was working on. W...
