What processing did you do? To my eye the shadows are lifted just a bit more than I would have, and/or the greens and blues are oversaturated. Great vista--the disappearing road is excellent.

We were fortunate to have driven through a couple of times and the geography is outstanding... As a general statement there seems to be some wind ; ) The colors and tones are very nice... particularly the sky. Excellent and welcome to the forum... Casey

Funny, when I used to post here years ago this was the only forum that commented on my supposedly over saturated greens. The greens are what they are in California in the spring. Rye grass becomes almost neon when exposed to the sun. However, my style is ...

.....in terms of nature, a wind farm is a surreal concept. The image captures a surreal theme. Yes, I can see the point made about teh shadows being lifted and the greens/blues, but actually, the way you have porrtrayed it catches the surreality of the su... 

My initial reactions were "Wow!" followed quickly by the same feelings as expwmbat's...

with just a touch of "overbaked" thrown in. More and more I think these types of shots are as much about my personal (negative) biases as they are about a photograph or style. Your comments and ongopt's really gave me some pause...especially your surreal ...
