5180/1 and the Patek perpetuals

I the previous post I shared some pictures of the new 5170J. I was also curious to see the skeletonised Calatrava 5180/1. The blue border that can be seen on official photos is gone. This color was apparently too difficult to produce. Technically it is beautiful and made with a lot of fine detailing. The caliber looks quite harmonic. The pictures are not so good technically, but they may give you a feeling.

The Patek perpetuals are always nice to look at. Here you can see all.

A last picture of the 5960P

the 5180 had a leather strap version, which would surely make it more wearable.

I could be wrong but it looks like

you could actually put it on a strap. The bracelet does not appear to be attached to the case. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong as I've never seen it up close

I really like the 5180!

As many of my PuristS friends already know, I am a huge sucker for many Patek Philippe timepieces with the 240 caliber movement. Thus, the 5180 which exposes a naked 240 caliber for the eye to see would be a total treat!
