I was once told by Lange that if they laser part of the plat watch, they would have to polish the whole watch because the part that they laser would he of a different hue then the non laser parts. Is this commonly known to others here?

Patek Philippe: 5035

Being a traditionalist, I pick the 5035. It was the first annual by any manufacturer, and it is what the annual was suppose to be, which is a classic, simple dress watch with one complication. And the case was made for the caliber. No extra space on the back of the watch. By the way, I was at Stern

Nice strap and watch. I can't tell from photo that this strap is anything other than what its suppose to look like. On straps, I recently got a CF alligator black shiny for my 5035g. The strap is very stiff. I have bent if back and forth throughout the strap (don't want to be too forceful), but its
