Jaeger-LeCoultre: I believe it hasn't been serviced in years and was running fast so it was time for a service.

When it returns I'm going to try to get a custom strap made, I'll let you know how it goes.

Mine has been back in Switzerland for a full service since the beginning of Jan. I'm getting impatient wanting it back on the wrist. Your photos have helped tide me over haha.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Same charge as a service. So no additional charge.

I opted to upgrade but they said they could just service and repair the old movement but no warranty.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Update - They came back and said if I wanted to they can still service the old movement. They just cannot give it the 2 year warranty.

I opted to go with the upgraded movement. This was a grail watch for me and I don’t plan on selling it so if it does take a hit on the price I am okay with it. I plan to wear this watch for a very long time and would prefer a movement that I know can be serviced and by JLC for an extended period of

Jaeger-LeCoultre: The watch hasn’t been serviced since 2011 it was running fast

I took the watch to the boutique who then sent it back to jlc in Switzerland.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: They said the movement has been upgraded.

All I got back was the movement was upgraded and they can only service on the updated movement which is a different colour.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: New movement for Extreme Lab 2

I sent my Extreme lab 2 into service at JLC. The one that I have currently is one of the ones that has the black bridges. I just heard back from JLC that in order to service the movement, they need to replace the full movement with the new lighter colored movement, as it has been updated. They can’t
