Jaeger-LeCoultre: How "robust" is the movement?

How "robust" is the movement? This has been on my short-short list since it was released, but can anyone comment on the fragility of the 868 movement? I\'m curious how it compares to other ultra thin movements...although I know JLC is known for some of the finest ultra thin movements from this aspec

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Thanks for a great review

Wonderful review, and just an absolute superb watch. I think the dial isn't "cold" at first glance at all though. There is something about that grained finish that I think really makes it special. Thanks for giving us the more in depth details. Mark

Jaeger-LeCoultre: A beauty to be sure

What an absolute stunner of a watch. I actually like seeing the tourbillon, and the size and especially thickness, or thin-ness, of this watch is just perfect. I am not sure I like the window's however, are they a necessity for better sound transduction I wonder? Thanks for posting these pics, and t

The question would then be how often would I have the watched reversed to watch the tourbillon and how often would it be flipped to the standard side? My guess is it would be quite hard t

Jaeger-LeCoultre: I see what you mean

It would be just one extra hole equally spaced. I see what you mean though, so I'll give it a try, and if you looks funny, then I'll simply go with the aftermarket strap anyway. Thanks for the reply. I admittedly have a small wrist, but was still a bit surprised it isn't able to fit without another

Jaeger-LeCoultre: New Master Control, but strap too big

I recently purchased a maser control, and because I rarely wear black I swapped out the standard black leather strap for the dark brown strap found on the typical rose gold version. I love it, except that the strap is too large. I think that due to the deployant clasp on the SS model the strap is ju
