Stephen..I am sure it would perform well in a 10 meter pool... the whole time I was reading this thread, I was thinking...THAT STRAP..THAT STRAP! I was not worried about the 341..how did the strap survive?!? Take care my friend...

I tested my Pam 317 today in the pool and it worked just fine. NOT that I ever doubted it. Best regards, George

I was visiting a cave with my kids today in the South of France and they Turned the lights off. The lume of the 317 was the only thing that you could see in the pitch black. It was a great expérience. Best regards, George

you wouldn't get close to any enemy ship... However, it's a cool display of the Super Luminova's ability to glow - at least for a while. Thanks for sharing this fun experiment, meislergeisler

This is the way any watch, especially a Panerai is meant to be used, to it's purported extreme! The 341 is definitely NO safe queen from me, it's a bomb king! Hwahwa! Ciao Stephen

I have been thinking of a test on several diving watches for some time. There should be a water pressure device, I don't really know what it is called, to conduct test, simulating diving depths. Would be great to use one and test our diving watches. Best,... 

As the purpose of the case is to fully protect the movement from outside influence, and unless you are talking about magnetic influence which of course will affect the movement if you leave it close by to a strong source, with regards to water pressure an... 

Think some diving outfits have them as well, but I am not sure to what water pressure levels it can get to Would be great if there is a immediate before and after comparison. Best, Horo

Could pump it up to about 200 meters, or about 20 atmospheres. The Egi goes only till 10 so i guess it's sufficient! I used to test them for the water resistance 1st, then have the watch placed on a witchi, as far as i remember, zero affectance. Ciao Step...

If it's a PAM, the straps are carefully chosen so that they can go ANYWHERE! As you probably notice, im not a strap fanatic, one watch one strap policy, of course i wont do this with a Lange, but cause it's a PAM, say welcome home! Ciao Stephen

I think it'd be really cool to swim with a watch like that on the wrist... We ought to take a dip... A very nice test from an individual who actually uses his PAM 341.

I have not had the pleasure of swimming with a watch for ages... The last time I swam with a watch on was in excess of a decade ago. And this was done with my trusty and beloved Casio watch. I very nearly went swimming with a watch on back in May while on...
