Yes it is!

I absolutely agree!
When I first really began getting interested in watches a few years ago, I was really drawn to the JLC offerings -- both online, and at various watch events. It was the heritage and price point that drew me in initially, but it was the quality of the watches that kept me there.
IMO, in the world of haute (and haute-ish) horology the value proposition of a JLC piece is hard to beat. Indeed, what's amazing is that even independent of any value discussions, many JLC pieces are hard to beat!
I've got one one my wrist right now --
cheers,
Kartik.

I agree!

That's why when I bought my first fine watch, it was a Jaeger-LeCoultre! No other brand can touch JLC when you consider the build quality, refinement, mechanical know-how, history, reputation, and balance it against the price. JLC really is a first-class ...
Totally agree...

...actually the new series such as Duometre and Ultra Thin bring so much surprise and still priced reasonable.
While "best" is quite subjective and open to criticism...

...I would say that, at least for me, it is very hard to find a brand that offers as much value as JLC and with the designs I like and the heritage I can appreciate. My favorite brands are Omega, JLC and IWC in that order. But throughout the years, I stil...

Thanks! I really like this piece -- it's a lovely blend of elegance and quirkiness. Surprisingly easy to wear also -- been dominating my office-hours wrist-time since I got it!
