I am pleased to see that I am not the only one to like "petite" women watches of the 30s and onwards. Is the men hexagonal watch quartz or mechanical calibre? (Lecoultre, cal 490, I know, the springbar is off)...

thanks for the kind words

I saw your nice picture last year here, and another forum. Very nice picture ! Inside the Albatros, an ultraslim quartz caliber works....

Great photos!

No, you are all very bad influences...

and superb pictures, too! These Vintage JLC really have something special. Thans for the share, my friend. Nicolas

Yes, something special, something spirit of avantgarde - I like the US marker watches. The case materiars are sometimes "low budget" as golfilled, or 10-14K gold, but very colorfull.

My pleasure, Stephan [nt]

They are illustrious of passion and I don't know what other adjective would fill in this space appropriately. Let's just say that the feeling here is opposite of when I come across members of the general public who believe Rolex and Patek Philippe are the...

It doesn't need to decide which is to nonplusultra of watchmakers. There are a lot of aspect. Rolex and the PP, and few other with JLC are the top names in this area.

I'm not sure if I gave you the wrong impression.

Foullis, I did not mean to say that Rolex and PP are insignificant or insubstantial. They have their qualities which cannot be disputed. I have no prejudice against the brands in question. It is the attitude of some people that I find disturbing. And it i...
