It quite easy to turn the compressor key from locked position to unlocked position. When I turn the key from unlocked position to locked it doesn't feel like it's tightened so much compare to a screwed crown...

The crown on my MCDC is very smooth/easy to turn once its in the unlocked position. I've never tried its function while its locked. Matrix.
