A rattrapante foudroyante monopoussoir no less! That is a very beautiful watch and no doubt also very very expensive. I look forward to finding out more about this beauty and maybe in due time also see pictures of the real thing. Thanks for the report, Dj... 

Hi Johan, The JLC is not a rattrapante/split second. This is a marvelous watch seemingly though. Dje

Ah, I got overly excited with my French terminology there. I think the seemingly split seconds made me think of a split second chrono. Nevertheless, it must be a magnificent watch "in the metal". I look forward to have a glimpse of it in Geneva.

I have lost interest in watches for a long time already. I think this is the watch to bring me back. JLC has always been my favorite brand, I just hope they won't supply this movement to anyone else. Francis

... and double barrel movement. This watch is a nice example that JLC still can produce very balanced, aesthetically pleasing and easily readable dials (in spite of having 9 hands) - very much unlike the vast majority of watches introduced during the last... 

The Duometre looks very good from the photos, well balanced and classical, in contrast to most of the newer JLCs. I like it, and look forward to seeing it in SIHH. - SJX

Dje, Thanks for your report on this strikingly beautifull watch. I find the dial very well balanced, certainly considering the amount of hands. Do you happen to know if at some point it also will be available in SS? Regards, Douke

This truly is a remarkable watch from MJLC. And following the Gyrotourbillon and the Tryptique, MJLC is really putting its stamp on the scene. Looking at your closeups, I cannot help but wish the applied gold markers for the hours are in the same font as ...

... I understand from the text that this counter duplicates the function of the chrono minutes hand? If that's the case, how come the pictures shows the minutes counter at zero while the chrono minutes hand sits at 20? Or is the minutes counter a countdow... 

... in the aperture of the chrono-subdial counts only from 0 to 9, to make it more easy to read the minutes at a glace. So whenever the number of minutes ends with a "0" the counter should be "0" to. A nice feature by the way though the subdial itself sho... 

That is just a lovely, lovely watch- I can't wait to hear more about it and I would especially love a view through the caseback which is probably the only thing more beautiful than the dial. I have to say also that it is very very nice to see a mechanical...
