Technological advance - Devon competitor?

 By: Bill : March 4th, 2011-16:08
I thought that you would all enjoy exploring new entrants in the hiTock or Lowhorology. Can't beat mechanical watches but I am sure there is a whole new gerneration of watch buyers that are going to expect certain things from the limited body real estate ...

Is that good or bad

The team did a good job putting this case together. Fits perfectly on the wrist. Do you like it?? Bill

I haven't mounted my Spread the love version. The fit and finish is really quite nice. Bill...

It looks elegant and well finished

the design of the case is rather appealing. It does look like it fits well on the wrist. I figure that it permits you to change the dial if you want to suit your mood. The red one almost comes out better in the picture. Best regards, George

Now if they could add in the mp4 player, WiFi, Phone functions

a custom case and strap so you can wear it on your wrist instead of putting it in your pocket or clipped to your shirt. There's an option to make the ipod show a clock when it wakes up. Regards, Richard....

Love it....

I believe there are 2 versions. This one is more permanent where the i-pod is fixed in with screws and there is another version where the i-pod 'click's' into place....I think they are great and a good reason to get an i-pod as I need an excuse to update ...

What's the 16Gb flash memory for?

 By: MTF : March 5th, 2011-02:49
Bill, I like the analogue time display -- I'm a bit olde skool What does one do with 16Gb of flash memory? Can it play chess? Regards, MTF

You can do more that with 8gig

 By: Bill : March 5th, 2011-09:01

 By: RJW : March 5th, 2011-17:08
So you can play music, store photos and watch movies from it. See my answer with picture to Amanico above. Regards, Richard.

It would be more useful if it could be programmed for...

more time related functions. I would rather have a Inpulse.

I am sure there will be many apps for it

The portability coupled with bluetooth (additional piece of hardware required) make for a very powerful combination. Endless possibilities. Bill

I was wondering what the watch was. I saw it today at lunch on someone's wrist!

 By: AnthonyTsai : March 5th, 2011-16:26
It looked a little bulky on that person's wrist IMO since the case isn't curved but it did catch my attention today. So is this another Apple product that Apple fanatics will buy? Cheers, Anthony

great but....

 By: Mech : March 5th, 2011-19:21
I would wait because there are many such ipod watch cases in the market today, almost all are inexpensive and bad looking. Most of those don't allow charging the ipod without taking them out of the case. Imaging doing that once a day? dreadful. Those whic...

Does anyone feel weird 'wearing' a computer?

 By: Mostel : March 6th, 2011-20:47
It's strange/unnatural enough to carry a phone-computer, and fiddle with it endlessly... but to attach it to the wrist? It makes me think of Huxley's Brave New World, where he predicted that people will not need to be 'enslaved'--they will do it to themse...
