Jerome, I don't speak about you, of course, but about all those who wanted to see absolutely the pics before the embargo...
They saw it before, but they only saw a press file pic, not what YOU did, a review, a special, complete, detailed, personal review.
For this, Jerome, I thank you a lot, as I know you took a long time to prepare it...
So now, about this watch.
A watch?
No, " watch" is a too weak word to describe this...
This is a true masterpiece!
The nicest of the JLCs this year?
Don't know, we may have huge surprises at the SIHH, but sure, it will be difficult to beat this Gyro II.
The nicest of all the watches to be launched this year? We'll see soon, but we have indeed a true winner.
We were a few, very few happy and lucky guys to have seen this pure marvel in the flesh.
And even if your pics, Jerome, are very nice, they can't beat the model in vivo...
Believe me...At a distance of 3 or 4 meters from the piece, you know that you're seeing something extraordinary.
Approach a bit closer, then closer and closer, and your heart is beating stronger and stronger...
You immediately notice the GyroTourbillon, and you're saying to yourself..They DID it, this is a pure moment of madness...
Have a look again at Jerome's pics, this is...
Then you notice the incredible work, and finish of this piece, on the 2 sides...The Hobnail, the skeleton work, the ruthenium, the whole volume of the dial and all the elements that are elements of it....
It's like a picture, or a sculpture, or both of them...This is pure, true ART.
The amazing thing is that the Gyro II is in a Reverso case...A bit bigger than a 70eme in size and Thickness, but smaller than a Squadra...
I don't have the size informations, but I'd say between a XGT an d a Squadra case.
Some will say that this is too big, and that it's a pity that JLC didn't do it in a GT case...LOLOLOL
No, in this case, I think that this Gyro II has the good size.Technically, I think it wasn't possible to do smaller and first of all, thinner.
When you see a piece like that, you immdiately ealuate it, in terms of finish, comparing JLC to other prestigious brands...
Judge by yourself, on Jerome's pics...
I think we can reasonably say that JLC has reached a level of finish quality that is one of the higher in the horological world...
You understood it, since I saw this piece in vivo, I fell completely in love. The only obstacle is the value of this Masterpiece...But to be the owner of such a watch should be something in term of joy and happyness.
Best to All, and thanks again to Jerome.
Nicolas
PS...Some other posts to come, not today, but stay tuned...BHK9, you booked your ticket for the 14 of April????LOL
