Great observation about the is watches' place in the history of the Reverso. Great pics too! I'm really hoping JLC add some new complications, or simply reprise old ones in this case. A Perpetual and a Flyback or Retrograde Chrono would be good...

Another excellent review. I like the way the XGT case looks in pictures but it seems to large on the wrist. Nonetheless the platinum 70eme is a beautiful watch, the platinum/ruthenium dial combination works very well on the Reverso, my personal favourite ...

Thanks for the nice pictures and in depth review. I too are torn between GT and XGT casing. With my wrist I like the look of XGT when viewing from above, but otherwise it is way too thick for me. I guess I am stuck with GT size only. -marty.

Let me tell you that if you still hesitate, give it some time, and come back to the topic after a while... The relative thickness of the XGT is something we can get used to, as the watch is not THAT big... If your wrist tells you that the WGT is for you, ...

Nicolas, the Reverso GMT is my favorite. I've tried that on at least 7 times over a span of 5 months. I kept telling myself eventually I will overlook the thickness and like it. But finally my inner voice said I should only buy watches that put a smile on...
