Some JLCs up close and personal.....

I couldn't bothered to get the tripod out so these are not as sharp as they could be. I wanted to try and show the depth on some of the watches.























Hope you liked them.

a Nikon D2X with the 105mm f/2.8 VR macro lens attached. I used the R1C1 flash kit and an SB-800 flash controlled wirelessly pointing at the ceiling for a diffused bounce light. All shot handheld in NEF raw format, processed to tiff files in Nikon Capture...

These are great images, Simon, thanks so much. I have heard it mentioned occasionally that JLC watches lack depth in the dial. Although I enjoy very 3-dimensional dials, this has never bothered me with JLC, who have a recognisable design aesthetic. Your p...
