JLC's cooperation with Aston-Martin has resulted in some interesting model lines. The 1R was the second, if I remember correctly, AmVox model. In British Racing Green and Speed Yellow, the dial layout was inspired by the dial design of the DB Aston models...

I finally went for the titanium case + ruthenium dial Limited to 1 000 pièces. Actually, there was another and very limited Amvox One. This one. The R is two millimeters bigger, compared to the " normal " one. It is much more racing. If you have an Aston,...

Hi Thomas, Thanks for brightening the day with this colorful gem. While it's raining today in Miami, I still feel as though this is the clear-cut Amvox for my subtropical corner of the world! Down on the beach, the green/yellow tandem would feel consonant...

I tried it on during my first trip to JLC, which the photo meta-data says was on 14 June 2005. I have wished several times that I'd bought one back then, but it seemed a bit large at the time. Mike ...

For my humble part, I really like it, somehow. Although, if I may say so, I\'ve always liked the Titanium: Ruthenium version best. Sadly I missed it back then. Thx for the nice share, Thomas & HAGWE ! hs

it was never an issue. Maybe I've been hanging around skittles colored Lambos for too long... :-) I do wonder about strap availability, though, if I ever need to replace straps. Cheers, TM

I would have loved a green strap with matching yellow stitching. For some reason, the alarm on this one resonated the best (I tried all of them): the volume, purity, etc, was just awesome. I'd still like one. -Dean

Hi, Dean, I'm surprised how fondly this variant is remembered by so many. It didn't sell that well when current - many NOS available many years afterwards - and of course the colors can be immediately offputting to most. But I'm glad the "mental patina" h...
